San Francisco Green Party

These are the SF Green Party's endorsements for the November 2026 election.  A complete explanation of all our endorsements will be in our Green Voter Guide to be published here.

SF Candidates:

• Congress: Connie Chan (endorsed in the primary)
• Supervisor, D4: Jeremy Greco
• Supervisor, D8: Michael Nguyen
• Supervisor, D10: Pearci "PJ" Bastiany III
• School Board:  Virginia Cheung and Alida Fisher
• College Board:  Leah LaCroix and Jeremy Lee 

SF Ballot Props:

• NO on A - commission reform to lower public oversight
  
• YES on B - keep moving towards a public bank
• no consensus for or against C - housing trust fund
• NO on D - restricting ballot access for future propositions
• NO on E - less oversight over City contracting
• NO on F - more unelected, corrupt appointees and less accountability
• no endorsement for or against G - the measure to open the Great Highway to cars on weekdays
• YES on H - progressive parcel tax to fund Muni
• no consensus for or against I - dedicate $120 million from real estate transfer tax to "affordable housing"
• YES on J - end exemption to real estate transfer tax by banks foreclosing on properties
• no consensus for or against RTM - regional sales taxes to fund BART, Muni, and other local transit

CA Ballot Props:

• NO on 1 - bond to fund private housing for veterans
• NO on 2 - put more state tax money in "rainy day fund" instead of priorities like public transit
• YES on 3 - keep the tax on rich people to fund public education
• YES on 4 - allow public financing of candidates for state office
• NO on 5 - neuter state recall elections instead of reforming them using RCV
• NO on 37 - $25 billion bond for subsidized mortgages for new housing
• NO on 38 - $8.4 billion bond for immunology research
• NO on 39 - make it harder to vote by requiring people to show ID or write it on mail-in ballot
• YES on 40 - billionaire wealth tax (we helped gather sigs for this)
• NO on 41 - makes it harder to raise taxes
• NO on 42 - blocks billionaire tax
• NO on 43 - makes it harder to raise local taxes (2/3 requirement instead of majority)
• YES on 44 - SEIU-UHW measure to require more of health clinic revenues to go to services instead of executive pay
• NO on 45 - guts environmental protection laws in order to enable data centers and other development

Our endorsement meeting for School and College Board candidates in the November election will be a special meeting on Thurs, September 3.

Our endorsement meeting will be at our office, 2973 16th St, #300, SF - note that this is across the street from our old office in the Redstone Building. The event is open to the public and all are invited!

In order to spend more time with candidates our members want to speak with, we will only interview candidates who at least 3 active members want to invite. However, all candidates are welcome to come and listen.

Please read candidates' answers to our questionnaires in advance, so we don't ask them questions they've already answered on the record.

School Board: Virginia Cheung, Alida Fisher, Ryan Hazelton, Laurance Lee.

College Board: Leah LaCroix, Jeremy Lee, Bunny McFadden.

Our endorsement meeting for Supervisorial candidates in the November election will be on July 22, the same night as our regular members' meeting.
